Route Details

  • Take Ragıp Gumuspala Cd., Abdulezelpasa Cd., Ayvansaray Cd. and Ayvansaray Interchange to Istanbul Cevre Yolu/O-1/D100 to Defterdar

  • Follow Avrupa Otoyolu/Istanbul - Kirklareli Yolu/O-3, E84 and E90 to Xanthi-Avdira Epar.Rd. to Vistonida, Greece. Take the exit to PORTO LAGOE/THANARI/EO2 from Egnatia Odos/E90/A2

  • Follow Xanthi-Avdira Epar.Rd. and Georg. Balabanidi to Demokritou to Limenas Avdira

Border Crossing

Turkish citizens entering Greece by road must have a valid passport and Schengen visa (unless they are holders of a green/grey passport), as well as travel insurance. For their vehicle, a Green Insurance Card and a vehicle registration certificate are required. It is noted that the "express visa" only applies to the islands and is not valid at the land borders of Evros.
